Massage therapy is the manual manipulation of soft body tissues to enhance health and well-being. Our Registered Massage Therapists in BC have graduated from a 2,500-hour accredited program and are trained in Swedish massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, neuromuscular therapy, deep tissue work, and more.

Your first appointment includes a thorough health history, assessment, treatment, and home care recommendations. RMT treatment is covered by most extended health benefit plans.

Recovering from an injury is challenging. Whether you are an athlete, live an active lifestyle, or are in recovery from an accident, managing pain and low energy while having your mobility restricted can be frustrating. At Active Care Health, we know that managing pain, injuries, and muscle strain are all a part of being active.

Our Kinesiologist designs personalized programs ranging from a focused 15-minute routine to a full 60-minute personalized workout. Programs integrate with our chiropractic and massage teams so every adjustment is reinforced by targeted strengthening that makes the result last. We accept ICBC MVA injury cases and offer direct billing through many extended health benefit providers.

We evaluate a person’s ability to perform everyday life and vocational functions through certified functional design, innovative tools, and standardized protocols. This includes Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE), Functional Ability Evaluations (FAE), and Physical Demand Analysis (PDA).

Programs can be completed in one full day or two half-day sessions. Assessments are supported by over 400 commonly used, easily customizable tests and qualify for insurance-approved coverage, lawyer-approved programs, and privately funded options.
